The role of these wireless units is to bring the TV-sound closer to the distant sections of the house. TV wireless speakers can also provide convenience for noisy environments.
TV wireless speakers of good quality cost around $200. However, it is probably better to purchase a home theatre system with wireless technology rather than the wireless speakers separately. It will cost you more. But then again, you get a product which offers a universal entertainment (not just a stereo reproduction).
